Punjab CM Maryam chairs Provincial Apex Committee meeting

The Provincial Apex Committee met at the Lahore CM Secretariat. CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz presided over the gathering. Commander Lahore Corps, Chief Secretary Punjab, IG Police Punjab, and other high-ranking government, intelligence, and military officials were also present at the meeting.

The forum adopted a comprehensive perspective of the province’s current security state and the steps being taken in accordance with the Revised National Action Plan to guarantee both national security and public safety.

The forum also went over extensive plans for the protection of foreign nationals, including Chinese workers in the province’s CPEC and non-CPEC projects.

The attendees were also given a detailed security plan that was designed to maintain unity and tranquilly throughout the month of Muharram.
