Govt allocated 10% more budget for S. Punjab: PM

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif declared that the government’s continuous attempts to cut spending would show noticeable benefits in about a month and a half.
According to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, South Punjab received 10% more funding and a job quota from the PML-N government than it did based on population.
In response to questions posed by the opposition benches in the National Assembly this evening, he stated that South Punjab students received 10% more computers than students in the rest of Punjab, and that the Chief Minister Punjab Rozgar Scheme received a comparable amount of laptops. In a same vein, the stipend for South Punjabi females’ students was increased from 200 to 1000 rupees.
