Tuesday, Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal stated that the country’s progress would be stunted without these fundamentals. In response to a question regarding the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), he stated that work on the project advanced quickly from 2013 to 2018, but that later government changes slowed down progress in Gwadar and the Special Economic Zones (SEZ).
