Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday said that the country’s biggest issues is its current account deficit.

Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad on Friday, he said that we need dollars to pay debts, adding that we have to take loans to pay installments of debt.

The premier said that there was no need to worry about the decrease in the value of rupee against dollar.

Khan said that the people were taking keen interest in investment in Pakistan, adding the government would create helpful environment for those who wanted to invest in Pakistan.

“We will resolve issues of investors,” he added.

The prime minister went on to say that the situation in Pakistan wont change until we continue to import goods and not export goods.

Imran Khan said that instead of seeking loan, we demanded technology from the Chinese government, adding that the country progress when technologyis transferred.

“For the first time in the history of Pakistan, a card manufacturing plant is being set up,” PM Khan said and added China is investing US$900 million in the project.

“The investment would create jobs in Pakistan,” he added.
