Azam Nazeer Tarar, the federal law minister, promised to bring the murderers to justice during his speech at the condolence event for the lawyers who were killed in Attock on Thursday. He described the situation as a trial for the government.
“It is truly heartbreaking that we will not be able to see our friends again, but rest assured that justice will be served and that everything will be done to provide comfort to the families of Israr and Zulfiqar who have lost a loved one,” the minister remarked.
He declared that this was a classic example of counterterrorism. “Every case is unique; a lawyer’s role is to present the case to the court, and the verdict is then announced based on the merits of the case; no one will be allowed to get away with it.”
