Amir Muqam, the minister for Kashmir affairs, gave an assurance on Monday that the government would present a budget for 2024–25 that is development- and people-friendly, helping the underprivileged and effectively carrying out its goals for the benefit of the general public.
In an interview with the media, he stated that under a public-private partnership, the scope of public welfare programmes would be expanded and wasteful spending would be further curtailed.
He claimed that in addition to large cities, balanced village development is also being made sure of, with the goal of providing all services to young people and farmers who live in rural areas.
He asserted that better times were ahead for the nation under Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s direction, with the average citizen fully benefiting from the wise policies of the current administration.
