Apparently, Imran ‘s govt only wanted politicians’ accountability: CJP Isa

Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa noted that it appears that the government of former prime minister Imran Khan also only desired accountability of politicians as the Supreme Court heard arguments on Thursday regarding a series of intra-court appeals against the revocation of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) law amendments.
The five judges on the bench, which also included Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi, Justice Aminuddin Khan, Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail, and Justice Athar Minallah, were led by Chief Justice P.J. Isa.
Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), who is currently incarcerated, participated in the proceedings via video link from the Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi. His appeal to the supreme court for a personal appearance in the matter is still underway.

Attorney Farooq H. Naik said he had prepared his written submissions before appearing before the bench.
