Details of the amenities offered to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan when he was detained in Rawalpindi’s Adiala jail were given by the federal government on Thursday.
In response to Khan’s allegations of “solitary confinement” and not receiving the provisions, the authorities produced documentation, including pictures of the facilities that Khan was using while he was being held captive.
Khan is given books, a study table, an LED light, a room cooler, an exercise bike and stretching belt for physical fitness, a separate kitchen, a customised menu, and an exclusive gallery for walks while incarcerated.
The government gave the court a comprehensive dossier that included names of all the people who have visited him in the jail facility thus far, in addition to photographic proof of each facility.
