As part of his formal five-day visit to China, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has landed in Shenzhen.
Vice Mayor Luo Huanghao of the Chinese city of Shenzhen greeted him at the airport.
On his first official visit to China since taking office, the prime minister is being accompanied by key Cabinet members and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar.
In a message posted on social media platform X, the prime minister announced that, at the invitation of the Chinese government, he had arrived in Shenzhen for the first leg of his formal visit to China.
Shehbaz Sharif expressed his admiration for the city’s skyline and progress, which he saw as representing modern-day China.
