In his criminal hush money trial in New York, former President Donald Trump was found guilty on all 34 counts, making him the first former US president to be convicted in the history of the nation.
The jury deliberated for a duration of two days. The jury has scheduled his sentencing for July 11. Judge Juan Merchan of the New York Supreme Court granted him permission to stay free without posting bond.
The case revolved around claims that he had fabricated business documents to cover up paying porn star Stormy Daniels hush money before the 2016 presidential election.
At first, the prosecution claimed that the former president had fabricated documents to cover up his illegal intervention in the 2016 presidential race, which included paying $130,000 in hush money.
