Army Chief, Azeri FM discuss regional stability

On Friday, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov paid a visit to Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi. The two men engaged in extensive talks on a range of topics of shared concern, including peace and security in the area.

The Chief of Army Staff highlighted Pakistan’s longstanding brotherly relations with Azerbaijan and reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast dedication to offering comprehensive support and collaboration in the domains of defence and security.

The Azerbaijani Armed Forces’ exceptional bravery and professionalism were commended by the Army Chief.

The dignitary in attendance conveyed his heartfelt gratitude to Pakistan for its unwavering support of Azerbaijan and recognised the country’s critical role in preserving regional stability.
