The necessity of significantly enhancing Pakistan-Azerbaijan’s mutually beneficial collaboration in the areas of trade, investment, energy, and security has been emphasised by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
He was speaking with Jeyhun Bayramov, the Azerbaijani minister of foreign affairs, who was paying him a courtesy call in Islamabad today.
The prime minister thanked both parties for consistently offering their unwavering support to one another on matters of fundamental concern and pledged to keep doing so in any international arena.
He congratulated Jeyhun Bayramov, the foreign minister, on Baku’s selection as the location of this year’s COP29, which is scheduled for November. He promised that Pakistan and Azerbaijan will collaborate closely to make sure this significant event went off without a hitch.
