Pakistan and Azerbaijan decided on Thursday to increase their collaboration in a number of areas, such as commerce, investment, energy, and connectivity, in order to fully use the enormous potential of their cordial relationship.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met here to address the multifaceted bilateral and regional agenda covering both bilateral and international affairs. The discussion revolved around bilateral ties and cooperation.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar announced to the media at a joint press stakeout that both nations would increase their cooperation in the energy, trade, investment, and defence sectors.
He added that two nations were moving to boost bilateral investment, particularly in the energy industry. He went on to say that the joint working group on energy will be essential.
