PM in Tehran on daylong condolatory visit

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif came to this city for a one-day visit to offer his condolences for the passing of President Ebrahim Raisi and other prominent Iranian officials in a helicopter accident.

Mehrdad Bazrpash, the Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development, met the prime minister upon his arrival at Tehran International Airport.

In order to offer condolences on behalf of the people and government of Pakistan, he will meet Acting President of Iran Dr. Mohammad Mokhber and pay a visit to the Islamic Revolution’s leader, Ayatollah Imam Khamenei of Iran.

The prime minister is accompanied by Special Assistant to PM Tariq Fatemi, Information and Broadcasting Minister Attaullah Tarar, Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and Special Assistant to PM Ishaq Dar.
