Pakistan, Tajikistan for early implementation of CASA-1000

For the benefit of both nations as well as the larger region, Pakistan and Tajikistan emphasised on Tuesday the early implementation of CASA-1000 as well as other connectivity and regional integration projects.

On the fringes of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers Meeting, which is taking place in this country from May 20–21, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin reviewed bilateral ties and initiatives.

The two foreign ministers restated their resolve to boost high-level communication and bilateral collaboration even more.
During the SCO Foreign Ministers’ audience on Tuesday, Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was visited by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar at the Presidential Palace “Akorda.”
