Pakistan’s ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic, Hassan Ali Zaigham, was contacted by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday. He was instructed to make the required preparations for a special flight that would be flown to Bishkek today evening in order to return Pakistani students.

Students will return to Pakistan on Sunday night aboard a special aircraft, the PM Office Media Wing announced in a press statement.

The Pakistani government will pay for the special plane entirely at the prime minister’s request.

The prime minister gave the order to maintain constant communication with all of the students and their families, stressing that the injured students’ return should come first.

He also requested that the students whose families were living with them in Kyrgyzstan be returned.
