CM Maryam attends Elite Force passing-out parade

Maryam Nawaz, the chief minister of Punjab, was present at the Elite Force passing-out parade on Friday in Lahore.

Maryam Nawaz appeared on TV screens on Friday morning sporting the uniform and grinning broadly, seemingly unaffected by the scathing criticism she received the previous time she wore one.

When Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz showed up at a passing-out ceremony for female traffic assistants and constables wearing Punjab police uniforms late last month, she created quite a commotion.

“After donning the police uniform for the first time, I’ve realised that being a police officer or being sworn in as a CM is a very responsible job,” declared the chief minister.
