Ahsan Iqbal, the federal minister for planning, development, and special initiatives, declared on Monday that peace is a prerequisite for sustainable development and that it is the responsibility of every person, particularly the younger generation, to combat the miscreants who sow discord and hatred in the community.
Speaking to attendees at the Peace, Education, and Development Conference hosted by the University of Narowal at the Narowal Sports Gymnasium, he stated that propaganda based on false information that undermines the fundamental morals and values of our society is Pakistan’s greatest obstacle.
Ahsan Iqbal stated that “peace and peace” alone was the cornerstone of Islam and that without it, there could be no lasting progress or development.
