PM urged to extend olive branch to Imran

In order to maintain economic stability in the nation, the business community on Wednesday recommended that Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif “shake hands” with imprisoned PTI founder Imran Khan.

The proposal was made during PM Shehbaz Sharif’s meeting with the business community.
Prominent businessman Arif Habib praised the prime minister for winning back investors’ trust during the meeting.

Arif Habib, in the meantime, pointed out that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and other major parties have already forged partnerships with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
He recommended that the prime minister reach out to friendly nations twice more: first, to India and its neighbours, and then to PTI leader Imran Khan.
Arif Habib forwarded this suggestion to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, highlighting the necessity of political cohesion in order to tackle Pakistan’s economic difficulties.
