In the midst of escalating hostilities between India and Pakistan, the US urged both nations to refrain from escalation and pursue diplomatic solutions.
When asked about claims that India had ordered killings in Pakistan, State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said, “We don’t have any comment on the underlying allegations, but of course, while we’re not going to get in the middle of this situation, we encourage both sides to avoid escalation and find a resolution through dialogue.”
In a recent interview with CNN News18, Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh declared that India would invade Pakistan and execute anyone who attempts to cross the border and commit acts of terrorism within the nation.
