On Thursday, Atajan Movlamov, the Turkmenistan ambassador to Pakistan, congratulated Jam Kamal Khan, the Federal Minister for Commerce, on his recent appointment and held talks to strengthen commercial ties between the two nations.
According to a news statement released here, Minister Jam Kamal underlined Pakistan’s dedication to fortifying bilateral ties with Turkmenistan, particularly in commerce, for the mutual benefit of both countries.
The talks focused on cooperation founded on the values of equality and respect for one another, covering a range of topics related to Turkmen-Pakistani relations.
With an emphasis on investigating new routes and transit trade agreements, both parties indicated an interest in increasing trade volumes.
Ambassador Movlamov emphasised prospects for cooperation in the energy sectors and pointed out Turkmenistan’s capacity to provide electricity at a lower cost than local production in Pakistan.
