PM lauds Pakistan Navy for safeguarding country’s maritime interests

During his visit to the Naval Headquarters here on Thursday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed gratitude for the Pakistan Navy’s efforts to protect the nation’s marine interests in spite of its limited resources.
Accompanied by the federal ministers, the prime minister particularly praised the Pakistan Navy’s professional response to thwart the most recent terrorist attack on Naval Airbase Turbat.
The Prime Minister was greeted upon arrival by Admiral Naveed Ashraf, the Chief of the Naval Staff, and was given the Guard of Honour by a well-groomed naval detachment.
The prime minister met the Principal Staff Officers of Naval Headquarters after laying a wreath at the Shuhada monument.
