Naqvi, Gandapur discuss peace & security

Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa and Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi discussed issues pertaining to security and tranquilly in the province on Thursday.

To address law and order and other security-related matters, the interior minister paid Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur a visit at the Chief Minister’s House in Peshawar. They both agreed that better coordination was needed between federal and provincial agencies in order to enforce legislation meant to improve the province’s overall security and tranquilly.

They sympathised with the Chinese government and the families of the deceased and denounced the recent attacks on Chinese nationals.

The meeting resolved to end terrorism and prosecute those responsible for the attack.
