Putin vows retribution for Moscow attack

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that four gunmen who were attempting to escape to Ukraine  had been apprehended and vowed to punish those responsible for  the “barbaric terrorist attack” on a Moscow concert hall that claimed the lives of over 130 people. Putin is allegedly attempting to place the blame on Ukraine, as  stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky, who has sharply rejected  any involvement. Putin did not mention a statement released by the Islamic State  (IS) claiming responsibility in his initial public remarks about the incident. Camouflaged gunmen invaded the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, a suburb of Moscow, on Friday night, setting the building on fire and killing at least 133 people.
