Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister, strongly denounced the terrorist attack on a military convoy that occurred in Dera Ismail Khan on Friday.
The troops were killed and injured after a suicide bomber crashed an explosives-laden car into the convoy while it was travelling from Dera Ismail Khan to Tank, according to the police report.
The prime minister appealed to Allah Almighty in a statement, asking for patience to help the mourning families cope with their loss and for higher positions for the fallen soldiers.
He declared that the Pakistan Army was committed to eliminating terrorism as a whole.
“Our fight against terrorism will continue unless it is eliminated from the country in toto,” he said.
