During a meeting held here on Wednesday, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz reviewed the “Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar” project, which calls for the construction of 100,000 low-income housing units.
According to the chief minister, every family needs a place to live, and the “Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar” project would provide for the most basic needs of low-income families. She gave the directive to expeditiously finish the site selection process in Punjab’s six largest cities. Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Sargodha, and Rawalpindi are a few of these cities.
The chief minister gave the order to choose locations while taking into account all necessities. Build these homes in city centres if there are suitable spaces; if not, pick the closest locations to guarantee public convenience.
