Govt committed to provide low-cost living: Pirzada

According to Minister of Housing and Works Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada, the government is dedicated to provide the underprivileged and vulnerable groups in society low-cost and accessible housing options.

He underlined the significance of making sure that plots are distributed rigorously on the basis of merit while presiding over a Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) meeting.

Director General FGEHA Capt. (R) Muhammad Zafar Iqbal briefed Riaz Pirzada about the department’s operations and administration during the meeting.

To maintain openness in the allocation procedure, the minister urged the finding and elimination of any anomalies.

In addition, he gave the Director General instructions to carry out an exhaustive and open audit of the authority, emphasising the necessity of strict actions against corruption.
