On Friday, Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar gave the Capital Development Authority (CDA) explicit instructions to concentrate on developing vertical structures to house the greatest number of people possible, rather than using priceless agricultural land to assign staff plots. In addition to presiding over the Federal Cabinet meeting, he gave instructions on how to develop policies in this area. In light of the Islamabad High Court’s ruling, the Federal Cabinet was provided with the policy pertaining to the distribution of plots to CDA employees. The Islamabad High Court’s ruling mandated that the CDA ascertain the discrepancy in revenue by providing employees with discounted rates. Regarding the suggested allocation policy, the Cabinet postponed making a decision.
