PM urges Saudi investors to invest in Pakistan’s energy sector

On Thursday, Pakistan’s prime minister, Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, asked Saudi Arabia’s Al-Jomaih Group to make investments in the country’s alternative  energy sector. The prime minister stated that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan had  brotherly ties that were growing stronger during meeting with four-member delegation headed by Sheikh Abdulaziz Hammad, the  head of the Al-Jomaih Group. K-Elect was heavily invested in by the Al-Jomaih Group. According to the prime minister, Pakistan welcomed Saudi Arabia’s involvement in the energy industry and greatly valued it. He praised K-Electric’s approach as well, saying that it will assist lower the power tariff for the benefit of customers by investing in the alternative  energy sector. Additionally, the prime minister expressed the expectation that K-Electric would continue to upgrade its facilities.
