India is carrying out a “sophisticated and sinister” campaign of “extra-territorial and extra-judicial killings” inside Pakistan, according to Foreign Secretary Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi on Thursday. “We have credible evidence of the links between Indian agents and the assassination of two Pakistani nationals on Pakistani soil,” he said in a press briefing. According to Qazi, there was a “sophisticated international set-up spread over multiple jurisdictions” and these executions were for “higher cases.” “Technology and safe havens on foreign soil were utilised by Indian agents to carry out assassinations in Pakistan.” They enlisted terrorists, criminals, and gullible citizens to fulfil specific roles in these killings, he claimed. These assassinations were promptly hailed and celebrated by Indian media and social media accounts as “successful retribution against enemies of India and projected their capacity.”
