Pakistan condemns consecration of ‘Ram Temple’

Pakistan has denounced the building of the ‘Ram Temple’ and its  inauguration at the location of the destroyed Babri Mosque in the  Indian city of Ayodhya. In a statement released today, the Foreign Office said that an  extreme mob destroyed the centuries-old mosque on December 6, 1992. Sadly, India’s top court not only cleared the perpetrators of this  heinous crime but also approved the building of a temple on the  location of the destroyed mosque. According to the Foreign Office, India is becoming more and more majoritarian as a result of the events of the previous 31 years, which culminated in today’s consecration ceremony. These represent a significant aspect of the continuous endeavours to marginalise Indian Muslims on the social, economic, and political  fronts.
