Pakistan needs to benefit more from industrialisation: PM

Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, the  prime minister, stated on Wednesday that Pakistan must become  more competitive and appealing to speed up the area’s industrialization progress. Speaking at the “20th Pakistan Breakfast at Davos 2024″ event  organised by Pathfinders Group on the fringes of the World  Economic Forum, the prime minister stated that China was the  hub of about $336 trillion in trade, and that other GCC nations were also joining the manufacturing sector. According to him, Pakistan may be one of the places China plans to shift some of its industries to now that it has reached the  transformation stage. Similar to this, the GCC countries had an abundance of wealth but  faced geographic challenges that limited their ability to transfer  their capital to nations with more favourable climates or import  labour.
