Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, the prime minister, announced on Monday that there was sufficient urea fertiliser in the nation to meet demand and ordered the start of legal action against individuals engaged in the unlawful profiteering and stockpiling of the substance. He threatened to punish anyone who took advantage of farmers by storing urea fertiliser. A meeting on the nation’s supply of urea fertiliser was presided over by the prime minister. According to a press release from the PM Office Media Wing, caretaker chief ministers and pertinent officials were present at the meeting, along with caretaker ministers of finance, energy, and national food security (Drs. Shamshad Akhtar, Muhammad Ali, Kausar Abdullah Malik, and Gohar Ejaz).
