Fazlur Rehman escapes armed attack in Dera Ismail Khan

Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), is said to have escaped an armed attack in Dera Ismail Khan. An official from the JUI-F has verified the incident and said that the attack happened close  to DI Khan’s Ziark Interchange. Maulana Fazlur Rehman was travelling in a convoy when there was an exchange of gunfire. Thankfully, the JUI-F head was not hurt during the ordeal.
