Shehbaz praises party loyalists

Shehbaz Sharif, the president of the PML-N, stated on Wednesday that party members were the true resource for any political organisation, saying that they remained steadfast  even in difficult times. As Pakistan prepared for the elections on February 8, he addressed  the PML-N parliamentary board during a meeting held at the party’s Model  Town headquarters to finalise candidates for the national and  provincial offices. “You did not even think about changing your loyalties,” he added. Shehbaz claimed that following his October return to the nation, PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif had revitalised the party and that, thanks to  the efforts of his followers, he would be able to take office for a fourth term. He recalled that under the elder Sharif’s previous administration,  the nation was progressing.
