EXIM Pakistan launched to catalyze economic expansion, global trade

Dr. Shamshad Akhtar, the caretaker minister for finance, revenue,  and economic affairs, officially opened Pakistan’s Export-Import Bank (EXIM) here on Thursday. This is big step towards  bolstering foreign trade, luring investments, and fostering the  nation’s overall economic growth. “We are thrilled to have reached significant milestone with the  operationalization of EXIM today. Speaking at the bank’s opening event, the finance minister said, “It will enhance the banking and trade finance landscape as we know.” The minister emphasised the significance of EXIMs on worldwide scale, noting that these organisations provided an astounding $2.5  trillion in trade finance in the previous year, significantly promoting exports to more than 60 countries and increasing export  investments.
