Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the vice chairman of the group, were indicted in the cypher case once more on Wednesday. The Special Court created by the Official Secrets Act 2023 indicted the two leaders. The ruling that established the accusations against the PTI leaders was rendered by Judge Abual Hasnat Zulqarnain. Regarding their involvement in the suspected misuse of diplomatic cable for political objectives, both MPs have entered not guilty pleas. The PTI leaders faced an indictment for the second time. Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Special Prosecutors Shah Khawar and Zulfiqar Abbas Naqvi were in court during the case’s hearing; Usman Gul and Barrister Taimur Malik, respectively, represented Khan and Qureshi.
