CM Naqvi, Envoy discuss measures to promote trade

According to Punjab’s Caretaker Chief Minister, the government’s major  aim is to boost trade and tourism with Moroccan and other regional and international countries. During his Sunday visit to Lahore, he discussed these opinions with Pakistan’s ambassador to Morocco, Sami Malik. During the conference, strategies for boosting commercial  connections with Morocco and travel opportunities were discussed. According to Mohsin Naqvi, the province government is working  hard to develop tourist attractions and encourage travel.

He asserted that fostering commerce and tourism with Morocco will not only improve Pakistan’s economic situation but also generate  jobs.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi spent two hours today touring the two packages of the Controlled Access Corridor Band Road Project. Mohsin Naqvi examined the ongoing work being done on the two packages. Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi watched as the side walls of package one were built and concrete was poured. Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi recommended that construction on package 2 be expedited and gave the contractor instructions to finish the project within the allotted time frame. He also expressed his pleasure with the pace of work on package 1. The Deputy Commissioner was instructed by Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi to stop encroaching on the project’s surrounding streets right now. The project’s development was relayed to Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
