Published

on

The National Assembly (NA) general seat count has been lowered to 336 by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in their latest  publication of the final list of constituencies. This is fall of six seats from the previous count of 342. There is decrease in the number of general seats in the National  Assembly (NA) from 272 to 266 according to the constituency list  made public by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). The number of seats held by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) in the  National Assembly has decreased from 51 to 45. Following the delimitation procedure, the united districts’ twelve  National Assembly members were reduced to six. This revision complies with the 25th Amendment to the  Constitution, which was made subsequent to the Federally  Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) merger.
