‘Islamic brother countries desire a resilient Pakistan’

Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, the prime minister’s  special representative on religious harmony and the Pakistani  diaspora in the Middle East and Islamic countries, emphasised the  benefits of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) and  the improving economic situation in Pakistan on Tuesday. He  attributed this progress to the cooperative efforts of Arab and  Islamic countries. In remarks to the Arab and national press, he said that positive  things were coming out of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, and other  friendly countries after the significant financial deals with the  United Arab Emirates (UAE). Ashrafi, who also holds the position of chairman of the Pakistan  Ulema Council, recognised that the confidence of friendly nations  and the devoted work of Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim  Munir enabled foreign investment in Pakistan.
