ECP striving for free, fair elections

The Pakistani Election Commission is working extremely hard to ensure that the nation’s elections are free, fair, and uncontested. In an interview with APP, an ECP representative stated that approximately 26,000 voter education pamphlets were sent to Balochistan, 100,000 to Sindh, and 30,000 to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in order to raise public awareness. According to him, the delineation of constituencies is being finalised and will be formally released on this month’s 30th. He added that although list of Presiding Officers, Assistant Presiding Officers, and poll workers is being finalised for nationwide deployment, the ECP was also planning to enrol more than million people for the polling process.
