CM Naqvi inaugurates Sikh Yatra booking portal

The ‘Sikh Yatra’ booking system, which allows Sikh pilgrims to book hotels, cars, and security online, was inaugurated by interim chief minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, on Thursday. Official sources in this area claim that the nation’s first religious tourism programme has just been launched. According to CM, the Sikh Yatra booking page would allow users to choose the type of car they want for their trip and engage security services as well.He added that Punjab would see the introduction of tourism police to encourage religious travel. CM Mohsin Naqvi was congratulated by Dr. Mimpal Singh, a member of the Parbandhak Committee, for establishing the Sikh Yatra booking platform. He mentioned that Sikh Yatrees visit Pakistan four times a year and that they receive a lot of love while they are there.
