Pakistan, Saudi Arabia agree to expand cooperation

On Wednesday, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan decided to increase their mutual cooperation in the media, theatre, and other relevant areas. The agreement was reached during meeting held here between Nawaf Saeed Al Malki, the ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, and Murtaza Solangi, the acting federal minister for information and broadcasting. Allama Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, the prime minister’s special representative for interfaith harmony, attended the meeting as well. During the meeting, an agreement was reached to expedite the implementation of media and communications agreements between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. During the conference, there were also talks about Pakistan and Saudi Arabia collaborating in the communication sector.
