Primary Health Centers’ up gradation started: Minister

The government has planned to strengthen primary and secondary  level health facilities and introduce a project to provide “uniform  health services packages for citizen,” wherein the upgrading of over 500 primary health centre (PHC) hospitals nationwide has begun,  according to Dr. Nadeem Jan, the acting federal minister for health. He stated in an interview that January 2024 will mark the opening  of the remodelled emergency rooms, intensive care units, and other  cutting-edge medical facilities for patients in different hospitals. Modern, high-quality treatment is being provided to patients at the hospital  through renovations, particularly for the impoverished, he continued.
