‘Pakistan leapfrogging into era of tech industry’

Masood Khan, Pakistan’s ambassador to the US, stated that the country is entering a new phase of the digital industry and that tech entrepreneurship in Pakistan has flourished. Speaking as the keynote speaker at a special session in San Francisco, California, he noted that young people in Pakistan who are graduating from universities are engaging in the digital economy, which is changing the course of the country’s economy. Masood Khan stated that in light of the tech and IT sector’s enormous potential, the government of Pakistan has established an atmosphere that is conducive to its expansion. He noted that the IT industry was one of the top priorities of the nation’s newly established Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
