Gaza death toll soars to 8,796, including 3,648 children

Gaza: Since the conflict with Israel began on October 7, 8,796 Palestinians have died, according to the health ministry in the Hamas-run Gaza Strip, which was announced on Wednesday. According to statement from the health ministry, 22,219 people have been injured and 3,648 children have died. Furthermore, according to al-Qudra, 25 ambulances were destroyed and 132 medical personnel died as result of the Israeli attacks. As Israeli forces continued their attack against Hamas militants, they bombed the Palestinian enclave from land, sea, and air on Wednesday. The first wave of civilian evacuees from Gaza entered Egypt under deal mediated by Qatar. The people that were evacuated were those who had been stranded in Gaza since the war began almost three weeks ago.
