ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa bemoaned the petitioners’ lack of preparation on Monday, stating that it was “not possible” to hold elections within the allotted 90 days. As the petitions for prompt elections within 90 days of the legislatures’ dissolution were being heard, the CJP passed the observation. On the case, the CJP is in charge of a three-person bench that also includes Justices Athar Minallah and Amin-Ud-Din Khan. To guarantee that the nation’s elections are held within the allotted time, the Supreme Court Bar Association, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and other parties submitted the pleas.
