ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Syed Asim Munir, congratulated the National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST) graduates on their successful completion of their goal Monday. He also said that it was now the graduates’ responsibility to identify and analyse the problems the nation faces and use their creative thinking to find solutions. Medals were awarded to recipients of excellence at the first-ever “Master Convocation Ceremony,” which was presided over by General Syed Asim Munir, COAS and Chairman of the NUST Board of Governors. In his speech, the COAS wished the graduates, their parents, and the faculty the very best. He praised NUST for creating a teaching and learning environment that fosters creative minds and prepares them to serve the country.
The head of the army stressed that education was essential and not a choice. He emphasised that the start of a new chapter in the lives of the kids was a big shift that required more accountability. He underlined that their choices and personalities should reflect this newfound responsibility as they embark on their path. Rector NUST received the COAS earlier upon arrival.
