BEIJING: In addition to strengthening their political, economic, educational, scientific and technological, cultural, and people-to-people ties, Pakistan and China decided on Wednesday to further increase high-level discussion and engagement. Meeting on the fringes of the Third Belt and Road Forum, Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Caretaker Prime Minister Kakar reviewed bilateral ties. The two presidents, escorted by the ministers and high-ranking officials, reiterated the established and unwavering friendship between China and Pakistan. Prime Minister Kakar congratulated the Chinese government on the Third Belt and Road Forum’s (BRF) successful staging. The prime minister referred to the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), citing its scope and depth, as a project of enormous significance for global connectivity and shared prosperity.
