Pakistan conducts successful flight test of Ababeel Weapon System

.RAWALPINDI: Pakistan successfully tested the Ababeel weapon system on Wednesday. The objective of the test was to revalidate the weapon system’s multiple designs, technical specifications, and  performance evaluation of its many subsystems. According to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release, “the missile system is aimed at strengthening deterrence and  enhancing strategic stability in the region through the  operationalization of Full Spectrum Deterrence in the overall  construct of Credible Minimum Deterrence.”
